Jonathan Smith / Managing Director

Jonathan is the founder of Kingsley Asset Finance and is an accountant by profession. Since its inception Jonathan has been involved in every role in the business as it has grown and developed and has particular expertise in the development of customer and broker relationships.

He is both well known & liked in the finance industry.

Amongst his friends & associates Jonathan is known for his many holidays but his mobile phone is always to hand!

Peter Bednarczyk / Associate Director Head of Credit

Peter joined the business in 2013 as Head of Credit.

Having worked in the finance industry for over 30 years for a variety of Banks & Asset Finance Companies as a key member of their credit teams, Peter is well respected in the finance industry. He has assisted in the development of new systems and solutions that have been key to the growth of the business.

Peter is a keen gardener and knowing his scary attention to detail we can imagine he gives Alan Titchmarsh a run for his money!

Suzanne Smith / Sales Support

Suzanne joined the business when it was just getting started. She has held a variety of roles within the business and is a knowledgeable and invaluable member of the sales support team. She is a dedicated professional who has great ability to spot a grammar or spelling mistake! She is a great support to all the staff and creates strong team, broker & direct customer relationships.

Suzanne after many years courtship finally tied the knot with Jonathan Smith in 2018, they are the original Mr & Mrs Smith!

Jane Pennington / Business Development

Jane is our Development & Relationship Manager joining Kingsley in 2014 and has over 30 years finance industry experience. She is well known having worked in finance sales for a number of asset finance providers over the years in the North West holding key positions and running sales teams. She enjoys working with both brokers & direct clients and prides herself on her first class service.

Jane is a keen amateur runner and is hopeful to run a marathon one day...could take a while!

Louise Hendy / Sales & Marketing Executive

Louise joined the Kingsley Team in 2016 from an experienced background in sales & marketing. She fits in perfectly; keen to learn, dedicated with a strong work ethic, but most of all an absolute wiz on our social media platforms having been key to getting us all set up!

She is also a supporter of Mental Health Awareness having launched our in-house Mental Health in the Workplace support guide. She is also responsible for all our fundraising for Lancashire Mind. 

Jayne Ashworth / Sales Support Administrator

Jayne has been with Kingsley since 2008 and is a key member of our sales support team. As a sales support administrator Jayne has a wealth of experience with point of sale finance solutions. With her attention to detail and her friendly can do attitude Jayne is popular with our brokers & direct customers.

Jayne is also a very good baker and the office benefit from her skills albeit she could be accused of adding to their waist lines!

Lee Knight / Group Financial Controller

Lee has been with Kingsley since 2006. In addition to his extensive knowledge & ability as our Finance Controller, Lee has developed great relationships with our block funders and is key to the smooth running of our lending ability.

In his spare time, Lee is an avid Blackpool FC supporter and he still lives on the Fylde Coast despite his long commute in to work!

Kirstie Barker / Accounts Administrator

Kirstie is the newest member of our team having joined in late 2020 as our Accounts Administrator. Her role is keeping all of the company bookkeeping and banking up to date. She has fitted in perfectly with the rest of the team.

Kirstie loves spending time with her little boy and having fun days out with him.  

Poppy / The Office Dog

Poppy is the baby of the team. However she has grown up posing for many marketing campaigns and appearing on our Christmas cards. She is very cheap to employ costing us a few doggie treats now and then & never complains!
