GT4 GINETTA SUPERCUP CHAMPION FOR 2021 - ADAM SMALLEY

It's been a week since Adam Smalley won the GT4 Ginetta Supercup Championship for 2021 and off the back of his amazing season we caught up with Adam to see how he is feeling now.
Hi Adam! Congratulations again for winning the Championship. What were your highlights of the season (besides winning obviously!)?
Besides winning the championship my nightlights must have been all the support from my sponsors, friends and family! I’ve had a great group of people around me this season which had motivated me more than ever!
How did you celebrate your championship win?
Straight after the race we had a big celebration on the podium with all of the team! The Ginetta awards are coming up in the next couple of weeks where we can all celebrate it properly!
What next for Adam Smalley Racing?
The preparation is already underway for next season. I can’t say anything yet but there are some very exciting things coming up which I can hopefully share with you all soon!

We also had a catch up with our lucky competition winner, Sieed Hassan from Shire Professional Funding. Sieed won a VIP day at Brands Hatch; getting to meet Adam, sit in his actual car and get a tour of the race course.
Hi Sieed! How did you react to winning the Adam Smalley Racing competition?
Absolutely thrilled and had to check the email probably 10 times to believe I had been picked. As a real car enthusiast and someone who follows the different racing leagues this was a real treat.
Who did you take with you and why?
I took my brother in law Andy. He is one of the only people who are interested in cars and the racing circuit equally, if not more than me. Brands Hatch is a circuit that neither of us had ever been to but really wanted to go at some point to cross it off our list.
What was it like to meet Adam Smalley and sit in his car?
Genuine pleasure to meet Adam. He is very professional and seemed so passionate about what he does and his team, and that made it even better. I could really sense he was happy that 2 enthusiasts got to visit and show a genuine interest in him and the whole Elite Motorsport team. He took the time out to show us around the paddock and the rest of the circuit which we both really appreciated. His car was really cool, although once I got in I physically couldn’t & didn’t want to get out.
What were your highlights of the weekend?
Well I think the main highlight has to be Adam winning the championship. Always great when someone that clearly works so hard gets their reward, an extra special considering he is the person we were there to see and support.
